Jane's Blessing

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we believe in the restoration of the priesthood of God here on earth through a modern day prophet named Joseph Smith. The priesthood is the power of God to act in His name. One of the things that we can use this power for is to give children a name and a blessing from Heavenly Father. The blessing is a special and personal blessing given individually and contains personal blessings for that person's life.

 We had the privilege of blessing Jane while we were in Utah. It was great to be able to have family be there to support us and our growing little family.

Jane's cousin Rees was blessed on the same day. It was a special opportunity that we are grateful to had been a part of. This bond with her cousin will hopefully be one that they can share for many years to come.

And finally, here is a family picture. Chris isn't very fond of this picture of him, but it was the best one we had from Jane's blessing day. We love having our little family now at three and are excited for the future that awaits!
