Our Utah Trip was Amazing

We had an early summer trip this year. Pretty much as soon as Chris was done with school for the semester we left for our trip to Utah. We bought a new car just in time to drive it the 14 hours to see our  families.

We stopped first at my (Justine's) parents house first to attend my grandfather's funeral. It was great to see all of the family too bad it had to be under these circumstances.
Jane started walking all by herself the first day we were there when she saw little Reeser walking everywhere.
We spent one week in Logan where we hung out with Chris' family. This little one really does lover her pizza at the semi annual gathering at Fredrico's.
 Sporting our retarted duck faces.
 Mr Reeser
The next week we spent with the Moultons at Wolf Creek Lodge in Ogden Valley
While there we decided to go to a local farm and see all of the animals. I though Jane would have an incredible time but she was a lot more hesitant than expected.

 Loving the summer sun.

After the lodge we decided to check out Fort Buenaventura in Ogden. We had a good time canoeing.

 and checking out the amenities.
We went to an old fashioned ice cream parlor and Jane got her own cone.

Chris had to go home to go to work so Jane and I stayed for a week longer and got spoiled.
We went shopping and swimming and had so much fun.

Makenna gave me a much needed haircut.

One Year Old

While my sister was here she took some pictures of Jane for us. If you want to see more of her work go here. Near our house there is a railroad station that I thought it would be fun to take pictures there. It was a little chilly but it turned out that to be a great spot, just the look I wanted.
She was so sad the entire time. So we didn't actually get any pictures of her happy and smiling but They are kinda cute this way too.

Except for this one, but I'm a little in the way here.
Thanks Makenna. You did an incredible job. I love them

Jane's First Birthday

My little Janers has turned one year old. I cannot believe how fast it has gone. If I could give any advice to brand new moms or moms to be I would say to cherish EVERY moment especially the happy times and even the hard ones. Oh, and WRITE IT DOWN. I wish I could have written it down so that I could remember the specifics.
On April 3rd my baby turned one. We had an incredible day. My mom, sister and her cute kiddos came out to visit. Makenna took some great photos of Jane eating her cake.

I just can't handle how cute she is, and can't wait to see what there is to come. Enjoy.

Valentines

This Valentines Day was super fun with my little Jane. She got a new water bottle, the cutest monkey and princess bubbles that she is terrified of.
She is growing like a weed. I can't say how much I love this gal. She makes me so excited to wake up everyday.å

Christmas before Christmas

This has been a long time coming. I have been really lazy in keeping up with, well, everything. I guess I just needed a little bit of a break and get some personal time in to sort out some things.
I finally took my computer in to figure out what was wrong after a year and a half of not having one. It turns out that it was the motherboard so I'm not paying to get that fixed. I just found one on Craigslist and it has been working out great. Now I just have to clean up the hard drive and find all of the pictures.
We had an early Christmas in Omaha before we trekked across the plains for Christmas with family in Utah. It was super fun.
While I was wrapping Jane's present she wanted to help and pulled off the paper.
I couldn't wait any longer to give Jane her gift. She was pulling herself up on stuff and standing next to things. I didn't want her to grow out of it before she was on to something else.

I think she liked it. (I don't know what I was thinking, she hasn't grown out of it. She still plays with it everyday).
The stockings were hung. Stuffed with goodies. You can tell Chris is a pharmacist because he put medicine in Jane's stocking. Jane is one lucky girl.

Look at that cute girl. (She might look disappointed but she hasn't opened the rest of the stocking yet).

Chris got something big and Miss Jane wanted to help him open it up.
It was a sound bar for the TV.

 Yeah!

Fruit pouches, bowls, Christmas PJs, pants, socks, movies.
Look at all this great loot we got. GPS, Soundbar, brushes, headbands, stuff, stuff, stuff.
Now that we have Jane I really want to start some traditions. I hope that as she gets older we might be able to have some fun things to look forward to every year.
