Summer is finally coming!

Good new for those who were wondering! We made it through another year of school! Unfortunately, no one in our family graduated. Justine is really close though! Just one year to go and she will get her bachelors along with a gerontology certificate. She is really pushing hard to get the most out of her education. Recently, she was hired on as an intern for the Weber-Morgan Health Department. She will be working for them all summer long, commuting to Ogden 4 days a week. When the summer is over, she will receive a stipend which will cover the cost of gas and then some. We have been blessed. She really likes what she is doing and has excelled as an intern. I would post some pictures of a recent event that she helped put together called Safe Kids Day but our pictures were deleted from our camera when her supervisor downloaded the pictures to her computer. We are trying to recover the lost treasures.
We had a fun Easter with family in West Jordan. After church, we went for a picnic at the local park with family and friends. It was good to get together with so many loved ones. As you can see from the picture, Justine has lots of fun being a little kid again. Chris did too, we just don't have proof of it. One day we might catch him doing something fun. Probably not.

Justine has learned recently how to cut my hair. It will save money in the future. It was funny how scared she was. She did not want to mess up! She knows how much I love my hair. I'm happy to report though that she did a wonderful job! She gave a great haircut. I was proud to tell everyone that my wife cut my hair and it was her first time doing it too!
Chris is spending his summer making money. He was offered a full time spot with his work for the summer while school is out. His job is going very well. Despite economic uncertainty in the nation, JJ Cole is still progressing and doing very well. We know that it is because of the honesty and ethics of those who run the company. We are very thankful for honesty and decency in a world that has gone awry.
There is so much to say but we really don't know what to say. This would be a lot easier if we would just update this blog more than once every two months! We did however just figure out how to add a few things that we have wanted on our blog for a long time. Perhaps now that we are figuring things out a little more we will be more anxious to keep up with these things. Thanks for reading about us.
