Hey guys! It's been a while again so here we are. We are bad at this blog thing. I wonder if anyone even follows this blog or if it's all just a place we can rant.
Well, our news is this....Justine got a paid internship for the Weber-Morgan health department for this summer. She will be driving down all summer while Chris rides his bike to work each day. He could use the exercise. She is excited to be so close to graduation. She will be graduating this next spring. She will also be trying to complete her gerontology certificate before she graduates. Talk about hard work! Chris is now trying to get his bachelor's degree. He is going to have to stretch it to two years so he can work and support us during this time, but he's going to do it. Then it will be onto pharmacy school.
We finally decorated our apartment. After 7 months, we finally broke down and got some end tables and a new book shelf. We also put a vinyl decal up on the wall to make it more homey. And now since we bought a new camera with our tax return money, we have pictures for the proof that we did this!
Right now, we are both training to run in the wasatch back relay race. This race stretches from Logan to Park City and runs for about 35 hours or so. It's pretty much run, drive, drink a lot, eat a little, sleep maybe, then repeat two more times. Each runner runs three legs averaging about 5 1/2 miles each. Each team has 12 team members split into two cars. From there, it's a relay race through some of the most beautiful places in the wasatch mountains. Now, all we have to do is get in shape to make it through it all. We still have two months to train. If anyone is interested in watching us, let us know and we will let you know where we will be and when. You can come cheer us on as we suffer physically and mentally. It will be fun, right?
